SUMMARY: Upon consideration ofthe proposed purchase ofthe Chevron Property adjacent to
Evergreen Park, the City Council decided to obtain an independent environmental assessment of the
property. Parametrix, Inc. was selected as the consultant. There are no identified funds for this
environmental assessment in the 2005 Budget. It is recommended that this expenditure be authorized.
The 2005 adopted budget will be formally amended at a later date and will include this additional
expenditure with the funding source reflected as a corresponding reduction in the General Fund
Ending Balance for 2005. This contract will not exceed $20,000.
ATTACHMENTS:
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Funds, not to exceed $20,000, are to be
committed from the General Fund Ending Balance for 2005.
