SUMMARY: The a eceived an affer to' purchase real praperty knawn as SR3 Park far the
appraised value a $568,00 Deed restrictians an the praperty limit the use afthe property far park
and recreatian purpases and prohibit the sale except to. anather gavernment agency. The Natianal
Park Service has indicated it will release the deed restrictians an the canditian afthe City purchasing
appropriate replacement praperty that will be cavered by similar deed restrictians. The current
property's value far serving park and recreatian needs afthe City has diminished. Fallawing
submissian af a repart by the Parks and Recreatian Baard, City Cauncil must hald two. public
hearings regarding the patential sale afthe property and a unanimaus vate afthe full Cauncil is
required to. apprave the sale. Public Hearings are scheduled far March 16,2005 and March 23, 2005.
