SUMMARY: The proposed ordinance enacts new sections of the zoning code to implement the
2004 Comprehensive Plan. The proposed new BMC chapters include new administrative sections,
new zoning for single family residential areas, and new zoning for portions ofthe Wheaton Way and
Kitsap Way corridors. In addition, re-numbering of several existing land use chapters is proposed.
The enactment of development regulations consistent with the 2004 Comprehensive Plan is necessary
to maintain compliance with the State Growth Management Act.
ATTACHMENTS: Proposed BMC chapters 20.40, 20.42, 20.44, 20.46, 20.60, 20.62, and 20.64 as
recommended by the City Planning Commission .
