SUMMARY: The Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is prepared pursuant
to RCW 35.77.010. The TIP is updated annually and filed with the Secretary of
Transportation, Local Programs Office. It is intended as a planning tool for the local, State
and Federal transportation funding entities. The TIP has been prepared for City Council
approval by Resolution prior to submittal to the Washington State Department of
Transportation. This TIP is consistent with Bremerton's Comprehensive and Non - Motorized
Transportation Plans, and Street CIP.
ATTACHMENTS: 2015 — 2020 Six Year City TIP Projects; Resolution No. 3227
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Annual adoption of a six -year TIP is required by
State law, and is necessary to receive certain State and Federal Transportation funds. The
TIP includes $68,938,700 in projects over the 6 -year planning period.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Resolution No. 3227, which approves the City's 2015 — 2020 Six -Year
Transportation Improvement Plan, and direct the Mayor to forward the Resolution and Plan
to the Department of Transportation, Local Programs Office.
