SUMMARY: This action authorizes two temporary laborer positions in the Forestry Division until the
vacant permanent position can be filled. This is a temporary authorization for 2014 only.
ATTACHMENTS: Job Description
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The 2014 budgeted amount for the permanent
position, which has been vacant since January 1 is $91,987. The expense of two temporary
employees, assuming a 4 -month employment period, will not exceed $20,000.
