Department: Parks & Recreation Presenter: Wyn Birkenthal, Colette Bema Phone: 473 -5752 SUMMARY: Sealed bids for construction of the project titled "Evergreen Rotary Park Renovation Project" were opened on April 29` 2014. The Engineer's estimate for the Base Bid and Additives 1, 3 & 4 is $103,323.81. Six bids were received for this project. Pivetta Brothers Construction, Inc. was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder with a bid of $104,899.52 (including sales tax) for the Base Bid and Additives 1, 3 & 4. The bid total excludes Bid Additive 2. ATTACHMENTS: "A" Bid Tabulation, "B" Contract FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): To date, the Evergreen Renovation project including the playground equipment and safety surfacing, has been funded through grants and donations totaling over $400,000. To complete the project $30,000 of additional expenditure authority is needed from the Parks Capital Development Fund.
