HomeMy WebLinkAbout05/21/2014 5F AGENDA BILL .5 F CITY OF BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Replacement of Service Truck Study Session Date: May 14, 2014 for Water Department COUNCIL MEETING Date: May 21, 2014 Department: ERR Presenter: Jim Orton Phone: 360 -473 -5359 SUMMARY: The approved 2014 budget for ERR shows replacement of one Water Department service truck; a 2003 Chevrolet 3500 with 105,000 miles on it. It has been determined that it meets at least two of the replacement requirements. The replacement that has been chosen is 2015 Ford F550 4X4 with department approved service box. This purchase will allow the Water Department to reduce its fleet by removing the large Boom Truck that we currently use. The dealer that we are requesting to purchase from is Cobalt truck equipment of Spokane Washington for a total purchase cost of $118,526.48 including Washington State sales tax FOB Bremerton.
