SUMMARY: The Law Enforcement Services Agreement Addendum with Kitsap Transit outlines
the hourly rate for services, program cost ceiling of $100K, and extending the original contract signed
in March, 2000 to December 31,2006. The proposed addendum extends the duration of the contract
that expired December 31,2004 for two years. The original contract agreement indicates that services
may be performed at various locations with in the City limits including but not limited to the
Bremerton Transportation Center Terminal.
A TT A CHMENTS: The Law Enforcement Agreement and Addendum #3 with Kitsap Transit
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): For 2005 the City has forecasted $94,640.00 of
revenue in the Police Department budget for these services.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve L w Enforcement Services Agreement Addendum
#3 to the Law Enforcement Services Agreement that provides law enforcement services for Kitsap
Transit and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same
terms and conditions as contained in the proposed addendum.
