HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/16/2014 07D AGENDA BILL 7 1) CITY OF BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Basic Life Support Agreement Study Session Date: April 9, 2014 between City of Bremerton, Handlers Racing COUNCIL MEETING Date: April 16, 2014 Association, and South Kitsap Fire & Rescue Department: Fire Presenter: Al Duke, Fire Chief Phone: (360) 473 -5380 SUMMARY: This is a three way agreement between the City of Bremerton, Handlers Racing Association, and South Kitsap Fire and Rescue to provide one fire engine with Firefighter and one Firefighter /EMT as a minimum. This agreement has been on -going for a number of years. The Handlers' Racing Association will reimburse the City at the actual cost. The Fire Department shall hire individuals on overtime to cover the event and not take away from the on -duty staffing. ATTACHMENTS: Agreement for Basic Life Support Services between the City of Bremerton, Handlers Racing Association, and South Kitsap Fire & Rescue FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): A budget adjustment will need to be made at the end of the contract, but will be cost neutral.
