SUMMARY: The PW IU 2005 budget for the 510 fund reflects replacement of Street Division's
asphalt paving machine. Our present model is a 1996 Mauldin 1500. Bomag was the only dealer that
had a demo paver available which will save the city money on the purchase price. It is requested to
purchase a paver using Bomag as a sole source. Bomag dealer is Western Power and Equipment in
Auburn, Washington. Total cost ofthis machine is $81,545.60 including sales tax.
