Home My WebLink About04/02/2014 5D AGENDA BILL CITY OF BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Resolution No. 3215 Study Session Date: March 26, 2014 adopting the Kitsap County Multi- Hazard COUNCIL MEETING Date: April 2, 2014 Mitigation Plan for the City of Bremerton Department: Fire Presenter: Al Duke, Fire Chief Phone: 473 -5380 SUMMARY: In order to receive federal mitigation funds after a disaster entities must have an adopted Hazard Mitigation Plan. Kitsap County and the four cities have had a plan in place and has revised the plan in 2005 and 2010. The plan was again revised last year. In 2015 there will be a complete revision in order to meet the new state requirements. This resolution will adopt the revised Kitsap County Multi- Hazard Mitigation Plan for the City of Bremerton.
