HomeMy WebLinkAbout03/05/2014 5E AGENDA BILL CITY OF BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Sole source purchase of a new Study Session Date February 26, 2014 maintenance truck for the Wastewater Plant COUNCIL MEETING Date March 5, 2014 and Sewer Pump Stations Department PW &U/WWT Presenter Pat Coxon Phone 473 5448 SUMMARY: Wastewater currently has budgeted $50,000 to replace an existing 1986 1 ton truck Upon review of our needs with the maintenance staff, it was determined that we have a need for a second maintenance repair truck This will enhance our ability to respond to emergent work at the thirty -seven pump stations, and both treatment plants Attached is proposal for a sole source purchase of a turn -key maintenance truck from Cobalt Truck Equipment in the amount of $131,950 (including tax & delivery).
