CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES *R 1014
Wednesday, February 26, 2014
A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council
Conference Room of the NORM DICKs GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6 th Street, Bremerton,
Washington, Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 5 00 PM, with Council President Greg Wheeler
presiding Council Members present were Roy Runyon, Dino Davis, Jerry McDonald, Leslie
Daugs, and Mike Sullivan Council Member Eric Younger was absent Lori Smith, Legislative
Assistant, was present to provide staff support
President Wheeler emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public but there would
be no opportunities for input or participation, and announced that approved items by Council will
be placed on the March 5, 2014 Council Meeting Agenda, or as indicated
A NO PRESENTATION PLANNED - The following items are budgeted items or have been
reviewed by the appropriate Council Committee
1 Resolution to establish April 2, 2014 as a public hearing date to vacate a portion of the
Adele Avenue right -of -way at the Bertha Avenue intersection (Consent Agenda)
2 Sole Source Purchase for a 2014 Ford F -550 Maintenance Truck from Cobalt Truck
Equipment for the Wastewater Plant and Sewer Pump Stations (Consent Agenda)
3 Contract with SMS- Superior Maintenance Solutions for Arterial Street Sidewalk
Landscape Maintenance (Consent Agenda)
4 Contract with Action Services Corporation for Hot Applied Street Traffic Markings
(Consent Agenda)
5 Resolution to authorize investment of City monies in the Local Government Investment
Pool (Consent Agenda)
6 Staffing Adjustments to the Financial Services Department (Consent Agenda)
7 Sub - concession and Future Assignment of the Olympic Soccer & Sports Center (OSSC)
Concession Agreement to Keystone Financial Management, Inc (2 Public Hearings)
