Due to increasing regulations on gas chlorine, the City of Bremerton is in the process of converting all gas chlorme water treatment facilities to sodium
hypochlorite (hypo) Last year (2012-13) we completed the conversion of Bremerton Well 18/20 facility from 150-Ib gas chlorine tanks to hypo We are
currently in the process of converting the Well 15/17 facility with the last facility, Anderson Creek Pump Station 2 to be done at a later date
When converting from gas to hypo it requires more space for the hypo tanks as compared to the 150-Ib gas chlorine cylinders The existing Well 15/17 building
s too small to accommodate the two hypo tanks and requires the building extension
The Contractor's scope will consist of.
e Securing needed building permits
• Construct a block addition to the existing building to match existing
More detailed scope is included on the drawings
