SUBJECT: Public Hearing and Approval of BOARD MEETING Date February 5, 2014
Ordinance No. 004 amending Ordinance No City Department PW /Financial Services
003 relating to the budget for the Bremerton Presenter: Knuckey /Johnson
TBD for fiscal year 2014 Phone 360 -473- 2376/5296
SUMMARY: The 2013 approved work plan anticipated the expenditure of $300,000 by City crews to
complete crack sealing of City streets Competing priorities for the City street crew allowed the
completion of approximately $53,000 of this work, resulting in a carryover of available maintenance
funding into fiscal year 2014 These numbers were not available at the time of the 2014 TBD budget
adoption in August 2013
The attached ordinance amends the 2014 budget to acknowledge this carry over and proposed
change to the work plan to utilize this money during 2014.
