SUMMARY: The existing air handler unit (ASU -2) for Budding 400 at the Westside WWTP has
deteriorated and needs to be replaced This air handling unit provides fresh air to the solids
processing budding, and has been in service since 1985 Due to the corrosive nature of this building,
the air handling unit has deteriorated to the point that it has become a safety issue We received four
(4) proposals for the removal of the old unit and the installation of the new air handling unit
Holaday- Parks, INC had the lowest responsive proposal at $69,400 (including tax)

and Air Masters INC proposals
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) This project is budgeted through the WWTP /PS
Capital budget of $350,000. The total cost for the Air Handler Replacement is $69,400

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the purchase and replacement of the Air Handling Unit
for Building 400 at the Westside WWTP from Holaday- Parks, Inc in the amount of $69,400 (including
tax) and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute any applicable agreement pursuant to the terms
and conditions as presented
