SUMMARY Kitsap county is the recipient of a Department of Defense Office of Economic
Adjustment grant for the Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) This study is to promote development that is
compatible with the Navy's training, testing and operational missions in Kitsap and Jefferson counties
and seek ways to minimize negative impacts of the Navy's operations on adjacent communities and
ecosystems The purpose of the Interlocal Agreement is to provide funds to the City of Bremerton to
assist Kitsap County in carrying out the scope of work which is explained in detail in the attached
document and includes task such as project participations /assisting in meetings, data collection, draft
plan and implementation strategy development

Exhibit A — Scope of Work and Exhibit B — Reimbursement Details
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) The City shall be reimbursed an amount not to
exceed $23,895
