A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, approving Phase V of the Bay Vista Final
Plat (File No BP13- 00023)
WHEREAS, on February 25, 2009 the City Council passed Ordinance No 5077
granting approval of the Bay Vista Subarea Plan, and
WHEREAS, On July 9, 2009 the Administrative Hearings Examiner granted Bay
Vista Preliminary Plat approval after holding an open record public hearing to subdivide 82
acres, with associated open space tracts and right -of -ways, and
WHEREAS, On May 5, 2010 the City Council passed Resolution No 3114
granting approval for a portion of Bay Vista known as Bay Vista South Final Plat Phase I for
approximately 8 acres including 46 lots, 5 associated open space tracts, and nght -of -ways, and
WHEREAS, On June 1, 2011 the City Council passed Resolution No 3148
granting approval for a portion of Bay Vista known as Bay Vista West Phase II for
approximately 20 acres including 24 lots, 4 associated open space tracts and right -of -ways, and
WHEREAS, On October 19, 2011 the City Council passed Resolution No 3153
granting approval for a portion of Bay Vista known as Phase III for approximately 13 acres for
one lot, and
WHEREAS, On February 1, 2012 the City Council passed Resolution No 3163
granting approval for a portion of Bay Vista known as Phase IV for approximately 6 acres for
three lots and open space tract, and
WHEREAS, On December 19, 2012 the City Council passed Ordinance No 5202
granting approval of revisions to the Bay Vista Subarea Plan, and
WHEREAS, On December 16, 2013 an open- record public hearing was held for
revisions to the Preliminary Plat for Bay Vista (Preliminary Plat Amendment), and
WHEREAS, On December 26, 2013 the Hearing Examiner approved the
Preliminary Plat Amendment, and
WHEREAS, Applicant is requesting Final Plat approval of the remaining portion
of the Bay Vista preliminary plat known as the Bay Vista Final Plat Phase V, consisting of
approximately 45 acres that includes 15 lots and two open space parks, a stormwater tract and
with associated right -of -way, and

WHEREAS, all applicable conditions set forth in the Preliminary Plat approval
have been met and Final Plat approval is requested,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer and Department of Community Development
Director recommend approval of Phase V of the Bay Vista Final Plat, NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1. Phase V of Bay Vista Final Plat as represented by the schematic
drawing in Exhibit A (Site Plan Layout) is hereby approved
SECTION 2. The City Council President is hereby authorized to sign the Mylar
SECTION 3. SeverabdiN If any one or more sections, subsections, or sentence
of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full force and
effect
SECTION 4. Effective Date This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage
