SUMMARY: The existing NX100 Neuros Turbo Blower supplies dissolved oxygen to the aeration
process at the Westside WWTP The current blower does not have the ability to achieve the lower air
flow requirement that is needed The proposed upgrade by the manufacturer includes a core
exchange and a new Allen - Bradly Programmable Logic controller (PLC) The manufacturer has
waived the core exchange cost, and is charging us only for the PLC and required labor The cost of
this upgrade to the NX100 Neuros Turbo Blower is $26,500, which includes freight and taxes

This Upgrade is budgeted through the WWTP /Pump Station Capital Budget of $350,000 The total
cost for the Neuros Blower Upgrade is $26,500 (includes tax & freight) BARS# 594 35325,
