S~ARY: On j)eCenU>er 22, 2004 City Council approved additional 2004 e,q>enditufeS of
$17,500 fur the design and inStallation of a pedestriat' door accessing 5" srreet from the fuurth floor
oftbe 4 "NJ aiirongton parking Garage. Our Facilities staff waii able to complete the design ofthe
door at a cost of $6,920 during tbe "",nth of J)ecember. Due to the late coromencement of this project
in 2004, we were unable to complete the doOr using all ofthe 2004 approved funds. Therefore, staff
is requesting that City Council approve additional Clll'ital e,q>endJtutOS of $1 O,SSO for 2005 fur the
parking System Fund. The source of funds would be the additional Ending BaJanCC oftbe parkinI!
s)'Stem Fund that resulted from the une,q>ended 2004 funds.
