Home My WebLink About5236 ORDINANCE NO. 5236 AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington, amending Ordinance No 5200 establishing the City of Bremerton's Fiscal Year 2013 budget as amended by Ordinance No 5217 WHEREAS, the City Council passed the Fiscal Year 2013 City Budget Ordinance (Ordinance No 5200) on December 5, 2012, and WHEREAS, the City Council subsequently amended the Fiscal Year 2013 City Budget (Ordinance No 5200) on June 5, 2013 to provide for certain programs and actions taken up to that point requiring amendment to the 2013 budget, and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously amended the budget by various motions and resolutions subsequent to June 5, 2013 which require a formal amendment by ordinance, and WHEREAS, several City Departments and Funds are expenencmg or anticipate additional expenses due to factors such as costs related to provision of contracted services, changed allocations of staff time, and the reallocation of prior period expenditures, and WHEREAS, several City Departments and Funds require adjustment to revenues to reflect activity in 2013 or timing changes from that which was anticipated in the 2013 budget, and WHEREAS, certain reclassifications of revenues and expenditures are required to properly reflect budget categories in a manner consistent with actuals as classified in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and WHEREAS, Park Plaza Construction Fund 305 and Park Plaza Phase II Fund 306, have been budgeted to account for revenues and expenditures which have carried forward from 2012, and WHEREAS, a new Fund has been created, Conference Center Expansion - Fund 333, to account for budgeted revenues and expenditures previously approved through Council action, and WHEREAS, each of these actions has an impact on the City of Bremerton's FY 2013 Annual Budget resulting in the need to amend this Budget document, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1.
