SUMMARY: The existing redwood media in the biotower process has failed and needs to be
replaced Before this can be accomplished, we have to verify that the existing support structure is
sound, design and specify the correct media, and contract for the removal and installation of the
media
I utilized MRSC to select three competent consultant firms, and had them graded by three
independent public works staff members Parametnx was selected from the three firms for this work,
and we have negotiated the attached "Scope of Work" for this project, in the amount of $104,525.20
