SUMMARY This is a year -end housekeeping action
The Bremerton City Council adopted the 2013 Annual City Budget by Ordinance 5200 on December
5, 2012 and later amended the budget by Ordinance 5217 on June 5, 2013 In preparation for
wrapping up 2013, it is necessary to do a final amendment to the budget to incorporate Council
actions and other unforeseen actions occurring subsequent to the last amendment
The budget amendments are necessary to property reflect the nature and extent of revenues and
expenditures of the various City funds and departments In addition, these amendments were
anticipated as the City developed its 2014 budget, so approval of the 2013 amendments would not
affect the 2014 budget
