SUMMARY: The City is currently planniug for a pedestrian friendly environment in its downtown
area and anticipates increased pedestrian traffic as a result of downtown rede~elopment efforts. The
proposed ordinance pro~ides regulations relating to pedestrian interference in order to pro~ide a safe
en~ironment for both pedestrian and ~ehicular traffic.
