SUBJECT: A contract with Emergency
Reporting, Inc to provide a web-based
Records Management system and a CAD
link from CenCom to the Records
Management System.
SUMMARY: The Fire Department currently uses a DOS based records management system that is
extremely out-dated and is on two separate platforms. The Fire Department has evaluated major fire
Record Management Systems and is recommending Emergency Reporting for approval.

ATTACHMENTS:
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $3492 a year, (on-going maintenance) for the
Records Management System. $ 5,000 to build an interface with the CenCom CAD system and $
5,000 to build an interfaci.\r?,th~..Ye!t.~s Design for medical billing. Both are one time expenses. The
