SUMMARY: The City entered into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with Olympic College for
construction of the new signal at 13 Street and Warren Avenue With completion of this project,
there is additional work along the Warren Avenue corridor with sidewalk, ADA ramps, signal, and
landscaping improvements benefitting both the City and the College which can be completed with
remaining monies The City requested proposals from seven contractors on October 31 and
received one response on November 7 The apparent low, responsive, responsible bidder was RV
Associates for $135,510 00

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the bid for construction of the 11 and Warren
Project — Additional Work and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with RV
Associates, in the amount of $135,510 00, with substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented and subject to available funding for the project
