A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, establishing a hearing date for the
proposed vacation of right of way for the Park Plaza Project, and
dedication of Park Avenue in downtown Bremerton
WHEREAS, the City initiated the vacation in accordance with Bremerton
Municipal Code (BMC) 1120 080 as part of the Park Plaza Project, and
WHEREAS, that portion of Park Avenue between Burwell and 4 Street was
never properly dedicated as right of way with the transfer of the property to the City in 1967, and
WHEREAS, on October 2, 2013 the City Council passed Resolution No 3204
establishing a public hearing on this matter for November 6, 2013, but that the public hearing
should be rescheduled to January 15, 2014 in order to better coordinate with the utilities located
in Park Avenue, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1. A public hearing will be held on January 15, 2014, at 5 30 p.m or
later in the City Council Chambers at the Norm Dicks Government Center, First Floor, 345 Sixth
Street, Bremerton, Washington, to take public comment or consider written objections to the
vacation and dedication
SECTION 2. SeverabihU If anyone or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full
force and effect
SECTION 3. Effective Date This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage
