PURCHASING AGREEMENT a
V����i���r.
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 39.34 RCW and to other provis3.ons of Iaw,
the King County Directors' Association Purchasing Department, here�.nafter
called "K.C.D.A.", and the following named public agency of the State of
Washington, City of Bremerton , hereinafter called "the publlc agency",
hereby agree ta cooperative governmental purchasin� upon the followicrg
terms and conditions:
1. K.C.D.A., in contracting for the purchase of goods and
services for the member public scho�l districts, agrees
to contract also on behalf of the public agency, to the
extent permitted by law and agreed upon by the parties.
2. IC.C.D.A. will contract for the purchase of goods and
services according c.0 �I�c �sws a:.0 r��::�a�i� :� s�='°�'::�^o
purchases by and on behalf of the public school system
of the State o€ Washington. The pub3.ic agency accepts
reaponsibility for compliance with any additional or
varying laws and regulations Poverning purchases by •
or on behalf of the public agency in questian.
3. The public agency reserves the right to contract
independently for the purchase of any particular class
of goods or services, with or without notice to K.C.D.A.
4. K.C.D.A. reserves the right to exclude the undersigned
public agency, or any class containin� the imdersigned
public age.ncy, from any particular purchasing contract,
with or without notice to the pub lic agency.
S. The public agency agrees to pay for goods and services
as billed by K.C.D.A. upon completion of transfer of
_ goods per normal terms as established by K.C.D.A. Any
additional expense incurred by K.C.D.A. i.n regards to
any transaction for the public agency ahall be paid by
the public agency.
~ 6. Thi.s agreement sha11 continue in force until canceZled
hy either party, which cancel3.ation may be effected with
or without notice to the other party.
