SUMMARY: The current emergency generator at pump station KL -2 has been in operation since
1976, and we can no longer obtain repair parts for the electronic controls. We received three
proposals for the replacement of the emergency generator. Cummins Northwest was the lowest
responsive proposal for the supply of the new emergency generator, fuel tank and transfer switch, at
a cost of $44,851 (including tax & freight).

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) This purchase is budgeted through the WW Capital
Budget of $85,000 for the replacement of the emergency generator at KL -2. The total purchase price
for the generator, fuel tank and transfer switch is $44,851 (including tax & freight). BARS# 594.35325
