SUMMARY: City Council is required to appoint committees to prepare arguments advocating
approval or refection of a measure submitted for General Election Ballot Measures A ballot measure
to allow the City Council to hold special meetings outside city limits and within county boundaries will
be placed on the November 5, 2013 General Election Each committee may have up to three
members. A committee may seek the advice of any person in preparing their statement(s).

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
I move to appoint Colleen Smidt and Robert Parker to the Committee writing the "For" statement for
the Bremerton City Charter Amendments ballot measure.
I move to appoint John Larson, Robin Henderson and Bob Dollar to the Committee writing the
"Against" statement for the Bremerton City Charter Amendments ballot measure.
