SUMMARY: Each year during May /June, the city assesses its current fiscal year budget for any
needed adjustments. Adjustments are recommended for the following reasons to adjust the
estimated beginning fund balances to actual, to account for unanticipated /unexpected conditions, to
incorporate 2012 carryover items, and to adjust for various Council motions /resolutions etc. The
attached ordinance outlines the various reasons for the current proposed budget amendment.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The net adjustment for all City funds for Fiscal Year
2013 is $15,076,864.
