You are hereby notified that the BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL will hold a SPECIAL
MEETING on WEDNESDAY, MAY 29, 2013 beginning at 5:00 PM in Council
Conference Room 603 in the Norm Dicks Government Center located at 345 6 th Street,
Bremerton, WA to continue their discussion of the following items, including 2014 City
Council Goals:
1. Proposed ordinance creating new Chapter 5.06 of the Bremerton Municipal Code
entitled "Rental Property Registration" Title updated 5/28/13
2. Discussion on Public Works items including crosswalk and sidewalk priorities; set -
asides for grant match; creating a contingency fund for small street projects;
funding road maintenance & paving overlays; and other related topics
3. Proposed amendments to the Bremerton City Charter including eliminating or
amending Section 18 entitled "City Auditor"; establishing a time limit for filling a
vacancy in the Office of the Mayor; eliminating full -time requirement for the Mayor;
creating an option to hold Special Meetings outside of Bremerton City limits; and
any other proposed amendments to the Bremerton City Charter
4. Other related business
The Special Meeting is open for the general public to attend, however there will be no
opportunities for input or participation, and no formal action will be taken...
