SUMMARY: The Bremerton Municipal Code authorizes the Risk Management Specialist, with the
approval of the City Attomey, to bind insurance coverage and requires City Council approval for the
continuation of the bound coverage. Pollution Liability insurance coverage for 2013 through 2016
has been bound with Illinois Union Insurance Company. The premium for the three year term of
2013 through 2016 is $35,541.01, including fees and taxes. The premium is $12,487 less than the
expiring policy premium. The policy provides $1,000,000 coverage subject to a $100,000 self -
insured retention per loss.

Management Fund for this expenditure.
