SUMMARY In 2013 the Street Department will begin scheduled street repair and maintenance The
majority of the work that City crews will be undertaking is a crack sealing/Raised Pavement Markers
(RPM) replacement program In order to accomplish this task the Street department will require a
crack sealing machine A request for quotes was sent out for a used machine and two quotes were
received (see attached) The Street Department requests authorization to purchase a 2008 Crafco
Supershot 125D from Partner Construction Products of Seattle WA in the amount of $27,293 35
including Washington State sale tax
ATTACHMENTS. Bids from Partner Construction and from J &K Associates
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) This is not a budgeted item in the 2013 budget
Funding will come from the Street Fund, with a category budget adjustment to follow later this year
This adjustment will not change the aggregate total for the Street Expense Fund
