Basic Life Support Agreement Study Session Date 3 -13 -13 between Handlers Racing Association, the COUNCIL MEETING Date 3 -20 -13 City of Bremerton and South Kitsap Fire & Department Fire Rescue Presenter Al Duke, Fire Chief Phone 473 -5380 SUMMARY This is a three way agreement between the Race Handlers Association, the City of Bremerton and South Kitsap Fire & Rescue to provide one fire engine with Firefighter and one Firefighter /EMT as a minimum This agreement has been on -going for a number of years The Race Handlers Association will reimburse the City at the actual cost The Fire Department shall hire individuals on overtime to cover the event and not take away from the on -duty staffing ATTACHMENTS- Agreement for Basic Life Support Services between Race Handlers Association, the City of Bremerton and South Kitsap Fire & Rescue FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) A budget adjustment will need to made at the end of the contract, but will be cost neutral STUDY SESSION AGENDA © No Discussion ❑ Full Presentation STUDY SESSION ACTION ® Consent Agenda ❑ General Business ❑ Public Hearing RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the Basic Life Support Agreement between the Race Handlers Association, the City of Bremerton and South Kitsap Fire & Rescue and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented COUNCIL ACTION: [Approve ❑ Deny ❑ Table ❑ Continue ❑ No Action Form Updated 11/02/2011
