SUMMARY. The approved 2013 budget for Equipment Repair & Replacement (ERR) includes
replacement of five (5) staff /detective cars It is the intent of the Police Department and ERR to
replace four (4) this year and keep the fifth car at least one more year Requested is authorization to
purchase four (4) 2013 Chevrolet Malibu's utilizing State Contract No 04306 for a total cost of
$72,710 40 including Washington state sales tax The authorized State contract dealer is Bud Clary
Auto Dealerships of Longview Washington

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) The replacement vehicles are budgeted for
replacement The 2013 Vehicle Replacement budget is $384,000
