SUMMARY: The City will be negotiating all four collective bargaining agreements this year Summit
Law Group is the consultant selected to continue assisting the City with these negotiations Summit
starting negotiating for the City in 2011 Summit is a Seattle Law Firm that specializes in
employment and labor law and is extremely familiar with Kitsap County Labor issues
ATTACHMENTS: Professional Services Agreement with Summit Law Group
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) The proposed contract caps costs at $60,000 This
amount should be enough to cover assistance on four contracts Summits hourly rates are listed in
Attachment A This amount is included in the Human Resources budget
