SUMMARY: On September 27, 2012, a $20,810 48 contract was executed with Talbot Excavating
for demolition and grading at the former Chevron Property to stabilize the existing site During
execution of the work, additional buried concrete was discovered that requires removal Also, staff
concluded the most efficient way to install topsoil at the site is to have this work performed by Talbot
The requested action is execution of Change Order No 1, which increases the contract amount by
$9,189 52 to $30,000 00

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) The work is funded by the existing )(remedial action
grant from the Department of Ecology, with $4,500 in additional funding received from the 9 -11
