SUMMARY: The proposed resolution recommends approval of the updated Shoreline Master
Program to the Department of Ecology who will review the document for consistency with State
Guidelines Once Ecology has finished their review, the City Council will have the opportunity to
respond to any recommended modifications and adopt the Shoreline Master Program as an
Ordinance It is not until both the City and Ecology approve the program that it will go into effect
ATTACHMENTS:
1) Resolution No 3180 updating the Shoreline Master Program Exhibits to the Resolution
include
• Exhibit A — Planning Commission Findings and Conclusions
• Exhibit B — Shoreline Master Program and appendices (City Council Draft)
• Exhibit C — Council directed amendments to the SMP
