SUMMARY
Automatic control valves are critical system components for maintaining adequate pressure
and flows This new pressure regulating valve (PRV) will replace and relocate an older PRV
installation on Price Road The new installation will provide more reliable pressure control and can
be better secured than the current configuration Additionally, employee safety will be enhanced with
more working space, a more appropriate location, and lighter weight vault lid

The purchase cost of this package PRV is $26,256 41 + tax This project was budgeted in the Water
Utility Capital Improvement Plan
