SUMMARY: The City has accepted $659,477 47 in grant funding from the United States
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to develop a Comprehensive Plan, adopt land use
regulations, and guide sustainable development within the Gorst Creek Watershed An initial
contract was executed with Parametrix in January of 2011 for $589,993 to complete the project The
contract was partially completed by Parametnx, and a total of $193,275 was billed, prior to
terminating the contract due to the resignation of the project manager (Changed firms to AECOM)
The requested action before Council is approval of a contract with AECOM for $560,675 to complete
the development of the Gorst Creek Watershed Comprehensive Plan

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Professional Services Agreement with AECOM for the Gorst Creek Watershed
Comprehensive Plan in the amount of $560,675, and authorize the mayor to finalize and execute the
agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented
