SUMMARY. In conjunction with the SKIA sub -area plan and future development of this area, a
Cross -SKIA Connector Plan with an alignment for a new roadway to meet the transportation needs of
the adjacent properties has been completed This corridor plan has been developed with a Project
Advisory Committee (PAC) consisting of the major SKIA landowners, as well as government stake
holders in the project The corridor plan now requires formal approval and adoption by City Council

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) None The adoption of the corridor plan does not
obligate the City of Bremerton financially to completing the roadway The adoption does make the
City and Port of Bremerton eligible to pursue grant funding through the Washington State
Department of Transportation (WSDOT)
