SUMMARY: The City has requested assistance for construction management for the 11 Street and
Warren Avenue Intersection Improvements project Four consultants were contacted and rated on
their initial proposals Exeltech was selected based on qualifications, and the attached scope of work
and budget were negotiated Selection and negotiations was done in accordance with the Local
Agency Guidelines (LAG) manual

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) Total estimated cost is $ 10 O 0O, and is
based on an agreed upon hourly cost for the personnel supporting the project Work under this
contract is partially funded by the R y"rant (86 5% reimbursement)

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Professional Services Agreement for construction management services for the
11 Street and Warren Avenue Intersection Improvements Project and authorize the Mayor to finalize
and execute the agreement with Exeltech in the amount of $ 169.3awith substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented
