SUMMARY: The 2012 approved budget for Equipment Rental Reserves (ERR) shows replacement
of 2 patrol vehicles This year we purchased Chevrolet Caprice PPVs This Agenda bill is requesting
authorization to install the required police equipment in these 2 cars We utilize a company named
Systems for Public Safety under an approved contract with the City of Lakewood The City of
Bremerton has an interlocal agreement with the City of Lakewood to use this contract The total cost
of installation is $25,395 14 including Washington State sales tax
ATTACHMENTS: Copy of quote 013296 from Systems for Public Safety
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) The installation of the required police equipment in
two Chevrolet Caprice PPVs is available thru the ERR 510 Fund
