SUMMARY: The Interlocal Drug Task Force Agreement replaces the agreement dated June 30,
2009 with essentially the same terms and conditions The agreement identifies law enforcement
agencies that participate in the task force The document references the appropriate RCWs for
authorizing, organizing, and conducting the drug task force according to State requirements The
terms, conditions, recitals, and the task force's purpose are defined and stated in the document

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) The agreement has provisions that the Task Force's
Advisory Board will provide reimbursement of overtime wages up to $10,000 per year for each officer
assigned The Board may also reimburse wages /benefits up to a limit determined by the board

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the Interlocal Drug Task Force Agreement that
provides law enforcement services and support for the West Sound Narcotics Enforcement Team
(WestNET) Drug Task Force, and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented
