SUMMARY: Each year during May /June, the City assesses its current fiscal year budget for any
needed adjustments Adjustments tend to be needed for the following reasons to adjust the
estimated beginning fund balances to actual, to account for subsequent unanticipated /unexpected
conditions, to adjust for various Council motions /resolutions, etc The attached ordinance outlines
the various reasons for the current proposed budget adjustment
