SUMMARY: The Joint Management Group was created in 1995 to develop and implement the
Kitsap Readiness Center master plan as a regional training site Since that time CenCom, the
Coroners Office, Washington Youth Academy and the Kitsap County Sheriffs Office are now located
at the site The parties now desire to establish a separate legal entity to provide oversight for the
activities of the parties at the Readiness Center

"Move to approve the Interlocal Agreement between City of Bremerton, Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue,
South Kitsap Fire & Rescue, Central Communications (CenCom), Kitsap County Coroner's Office
and Kitsap County Sheriff's Office establishing the Kitsap Readiness Center Joint Membership Group
and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the Agreement in substantially the same form as
presented "
