SUMMARY: A professional services agreement was executed between the City and Lusignan
Forestry, Inc of Shelton, WA on April 27, 2010 for timber harvest management and marketing
services. This agreement expires May 1, 2012 During this period the Contractor has delivered a high
level of service with increased net values to the City for harvested timber City staff recommends
extending the termination date through December 31, 2014 by means of the attached Contract
Modification Agreement. All other conditions of the agreement will remain unchanged A previous
modification agreement to revise insurance requirements was executed on September 7, 2010

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) Contractor compensation will be paid from future
timber proceeds at the rate contained in Exhibit B Fee Schedule Based on average of $500,000
annual timber revenue, Contractor fees will be approximately $41,000 /year

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Contract Modification No 2 to the Professional Services Agreement between the
City of Bremerton and Lusignan Forestry, Inc and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the
agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented
