WHEREAS, the improvement of Adelle Avenue from Sixth Street
to State Highway 21; Marguerite Avenue from 11th to 15th Streets;
Thirteenth Street from Naval to High Avenues and Fifteenth Street
from Naval to High Avenues, in'the City of Bremerton, by clearing,
grubbing, grading, together with any and all other work necessary
to make these improvements a complete job; is a necessary improve -
$ent to better traffic conditions and are for proper city street
purposes and betterments, and
V7HEZEAS, it will be necessary to receive assistance from some
other source in addition to the property owners adjacent to the
streets and avenues heretofore mentioned,
NO'N, THEREFORE, the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,
hereby makes'applieation requesting the State Highway Department
for funds in the amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars,
($2,500.00), to be granted from the State Gas Tax funds allocated
to the City of Bremerton for construction purposes, to be used on
the above named improvements as herein set out.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed
by two of the three City Commissioners, and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 26th day of April,
