WHEREAS, it is necessary to public interest and safety
that the City of Bremerton acquire and improve the following
described real property for street purposes:
Beginning at a point which is N.653.30 feet and
East 223.00 feet from the 4 section corner on the
West line of Section 13 Township 24 N., R. lE . V.M.
and running thence N.20 7 E. 127.88 feet to
Southerly margin of Sheldon Blvd.- thence along
the margin of said Boulevard S.35 E.78.89 feet;
thence Westerly along a curve whose 'central angle
is 123 ° 55'06" - radius 12 feet and length 25.95 feet;
thence S.20 W.56.53 feet; thence West 50.00
feet to place of beginning, situated in Kitsap
County,State of Washington,
which said real property is owned by the Bremerton Oil Delilzry
Company, a corporation, and
WHEREAS, the said corporation has offered to deed tae
said property to the said City of Bremerton for a consideration
of $p100.00, whi ch i s a reasonable and f air sum,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
on the City of Bremerton that the City purchase the said real
property from the Bremerton Oil Delivery Company, a corporation,
for a consideration of $100.00, to be paid for by warrant issued
against the City street fund upon delivery of a Warranty Deed,
executed by said corporation as grantor to the City of Bremrton
as grantee.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentica-
tion of such passage, this - day of June,1939.
